Tour Details


Day 1:

On arrival at Maun Airport you will be met by a representative. Here you will board your plane that will take you straight into the Okavango Delta to one of Botswana's top safari camps. The Nxabega Okavango Safari Camp combines the Okavango Delta Water wilderness experience with the excitement of viewing the big game normally associated with land safaris. Accommodation is in exclusive tented suites, nestled under a canopy of African ebony trees, with stylish en suite bathrooms and private verandas. Choose out of a wide range of safari activities such as meandering through the channels of the delta by mokoro (dug out canoes), exploring the deeper channels by motor boat, nature walks accompanied by a professional guide, or tracking big game by open 4x4 safari vehicle. The added highlight of an evening game drive with spotlight assures you an unforgettable experience in Botswana.
Day 2:

Enjoy a full day of fantastic game-viewing activities.
Days 3 to 4:

Transfer to the Sandibe Safari Lodge bordering the Moremi Game Reserve. Here you can experience the ever-changing miracle of the Okavango Delta on your doorstep in one of the most beautiful regions of the Okavango Delta. The lodge nestles between permanent water and grass-swept plains where herds of elephant, buffalo and topi (tsessebe) wander. Each exclusive safari cottage has its own private game-viewing deck overlooking the river. Venture out on exciting game drives and experience fantastic bird-watching and encounter the awesome sight of great predator kills. Under the guidance of a local Bushmen (San) guide, guests can explore the on a bush walk. During this walk, guests have the opportunity to learn traditional bush skills and how to track the animals. Make a mokoro (dugout canoe) trip poled by an experienced guide and cruise past some of the idyllic floating islands. After a fantastice day full of game viewing activities, enjoy the delicious Pan-African cuisine in the low-walled half boma (enclosed reeded area) under the star-studded African sky.
Day 5:

Today you will travel to the Chobe Marina Lodge, surrounded by the natural beauty of Africa. The Lodge is situated in Kasane in the North-Eastern corner of Botswana with the Chobe National Park, the Zambezi and Chobe Rivers, Namibia’s Caprivi Strip, the Kasane Forest Reserve on its doorstep and the Victoria Falls approximately an hours drive away.
Day 6:

Another day of great game-viewing in the company of experienced rangers and trackers.
Day 7:

Return to Kasane Airport by light aircraft, where this safari ends. If required - and organised in advance - a flight to Maun can be organised.

Medical Precautions
    Areas in Northern Botswana carry a malaria risk, especially during the period November to May/June. It is highly recommended to take anti-malaria tablets before entering any of the above regions (consult your doctor for details). Also, make sure that you are well covered with mosquito repellent.

Visitors are not allowed to obtain visas at point of entry.
