DIRECTIONS TO TEMBE ELEPHANT PARK
Coming from Durban International Airport: Take the N2 highway north towards Durban. Continue on the N2 highway past Durban, Stanger, Richards Bay, Mtubatuba, till you get to Hluhluwe. Exit the N2 highway at Hluhluwe, keep right towards the village of Hluhluwe and continue on the R22 main road. Pass the Phinda Game Reserve on your left and continue on to Mbazwana and Phelandaba. At Phelandaba turn left towards the Tembe Elephant Park (turning right will take you towards Kosi Bay). After approx. 10 km, the Tembe Elephant Park is on your right. Leave your car in a secure parking area at the gate and a ranger will drive you to the lodge in a 4x4 vehicle. (Total travelling time is approx. 4 hours)
