DIRECTIONS TO TAU GAME LODGE
From O.R. Tambo (Johannesburg) International Airport, exit on to the R24 highway towards Johannesburg. This road joins the N12 before crossing the N3. At this intersection turn onto the N3 towards Pretoria. At the next big intersection, this road becomes the N1. Continue on to this road towards Roodepoort until you get the William Nicol Offramp.
At this intersection turn right, cross over the Highway and continue along the R511 northwards. Take direction to Hartbeespoort Dam. Keep on going straight and then turn left onto the N14 highway in the Krugerdorp direction.
Travel Southwest for a while.
At the four-way stop, turn right onto the N14 towards Ventersdorp.
At the T-junction turn right into the direction of Ventersdorp / Hekpoort.
The road then splits again, take the left fork in the Ventersdorp direction.
Follow this direction for some time until you arrive at a four way junction. Turn right in the Rustenburg direction.
Pass the town Magaliesburg and take the left fork in the road, the R509 to Boons and Derby (+53km)
Proceed through Derby, towards Koster (+17km)
In Koster, turn right towards Swartruggens (R509 for 34km).
Turn left at the stop street onto the N4 to Swartruggens, Groot Marico and Zeerust. In Zeerust, turn right at President street onto the R47/R49 to Gaborone. Travel to the Kopfontein Border Post, bypassing 2 gates to Madikwe Game Reserve. Turn right onto the sand road (Direction Derdepoort) just before the border post and follow the road for approximately 10km to Tau Lodge Gate.
