This magnificent 5 star 13-day tour starts off in the Fairest Cape of the world, a real floral kingdom. Next visit is to the beautiful province KwaZulu Natal, kingdom of the powerful Zulu Nation, followed by South Africa's place of gold, Gauteng.

Tour Details
Day 1:
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, guests will be met by a representative and transferred to The Table Bay hotel situated at the vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. This hotel is an architectural masterpiece and in perfect harmony with the backdrop of Table Mountain, the historic working harbour and the yacht bay.

Day 2:
Embark on a city tour whereby all the city's highlights will be visited. Next, guests can go and explore Cape Town’s most famous landmark, Table Mountain. Take in the spectacular setting of Cape Town, the majestic mountain range of Lion’s Head and Signal Hill, while travelling up the mountain with the Table Mountain Cableway.
In the afternoon, a ferry will take guests to Robben Island for a tour on the Island. For nearly 400 years, Robben Island, 12 kilometres from Cape Town, was a place of banishment, exile, isolation and imprisonment. It was here that rulers sent those they regarded as political troublemakers, social outcasts and the unwanted of society.

Day 3:
Enjoy a day tour over the Peninsula to Cape Point.
This awe-inspiring tour takes you to the most Southern point of Africa. Travel through Sea Point, Clifton, and Camps Bay stopping at a lookout point in Llandudno and on to Hout Bay. Continue on through Constantia Nek and Ou Kaapse weg, arriving in Cape Point and the Good Hope Nature Reserve for lunch. The South Peninsula is an area of natural beauty, diverse cultures and unique attractions; it encompasses the splendor of the Atlantic Ocean, the inviting waters of the False Bay Coastline and breathtaking scenic drives.
After a delicious lunch, follows a visit to Simon's Town, Boulders Beach and the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Day 4:
Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the hotel or venture out with one of the many optional activties and tours available.
For example, visit the famous Cape Winelands. This region includes Franschhoek, Paarl, and Stellenbosch and is full of South Africa’s top wineries.
Exploring the vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront with its great variety of shops and restaurants, is a very pleasant experience.

Day 5:
Fly from Cape Town International Airport to Durban. On arrival at Durban International Airport, guests are met by a representative and transferred to the Zimbali Lodge in Ballito.
Situated 42km north of Durban, this upmarket boutique lodge, located on a protected forest estate in the lush sub-tropical coastal belt, is surrounded by an 18-hole golf course. The lodge is situated in the heart of naturally occurring lakes and wetland with a wide variety of wildlife and offers personal butler service, a spectacular swimming pool, a beauty salon and scenic walking trails to the Indian Ocean beach.

Day 6:
Relax and explore the grounds and facilities of the lodge.

Day 7:
Travel to your next destination, the Isibindi Zulu Lodge in Zululand. The lodge is nearby the historically momentous Anglo-Zulu battlefields of Rorke’s Drift and Isandlwana where the Zulu and British armies clashed in a devestating battle which had enormous consequences for the Zulu people. The lodge offers a choice of authentic Zulu cultural experiences.

Day 8:
During their stay guests can choose out of a number of activities.
Under the guidance of the resident historian, the battlefield tour heads for Isandlwana, where the greatest defeat in British colonial history took place. This is a half day tour (08h30 - 12h00).
Go on early morning and evening game drives in the private game reserve.
A tour of the Zulu homestead is conducted by a sangoma who can also be encouraged to 'throw the bones', which is an ancient Zulu art of fortune telling and rain wishing.
A wonderful experience is the Zulu Cultural Evening whereby guests walk down to the uMuzi (traditional village) situated some 500m from the lodge. A short tour of the village is followed by traditonal dancing. Afterwards, guests will be invited into one of the beehives to enjoy a meal of traditional foods and drinks.

Day 9:
Continue travelling in Zululand to the Hluhluwe Game Reserve. Viewing of game is possible from the moment you enter the reserve, and often you will be able to spot elephant, rhino (black & white) or buffalo within minutes.
The overnight camp is situated on the summit of a hill and offers magnificent views of the surrounding countryside.

Day 10:
A full day to enjoy a variety of game viewing activities. Go on game drives in the early morning and late afternoon. Guided walks are also available and highly recommended.

Day 11:
After a last game viewing activity followed by breakfast, guests will return back to Durban International Aiport for the flight to Johannesburg. On arrival at Johannesburg International Aiport, guests are met and transferred to the Garden Court Sandton City, situated in the heart of Sandton, an exclusive residential & business area north of Johannesburg.
The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore the hotel and its surroundings.

Day 12:
Explore the City of Gold and South Africa's best known township Soweto. Johannesburg grew around the mines to become the 'gold capital' of the world. Visit some very interesting places like the Africana Museum and the Oriental Plaza.
Next, guests have the opportunity to explore the historical, social and artistic aspects of Soweto. Visit Nelson Mandela's old house, the Hector Pieterson Memorial, have a drink in a 'shebeen' and experience the vigorous cultural interaction of Soweto life.

Day 13:
Transfer back to Johannesburg International Airport where this magnificent tour ends.
