Tour Details
Day 1:
Fly from O.R. Tambo (Johannesburg) International Airport to Livingstone. On arrival at Livingstone International Airport, guests are transferred to the Royal Livingstone Hotel, set in a lush riverine belt and touching the banks of the great Zambezi River. This earthy Eden provides a secluded haven.

Day 2:
The hotel offers a wide variety of optional extra activities, ranging from water-rafting to bungee jumping, a paradise for wildlife lovers with daily land and water safaris, as well as exceptional angling and fly-fishing.
Visit the awe-inspiring Victoria Falls, the Musi-oa Tunya National Park or go on a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.

Day 3:
A road transfer, followed by a boat transfer, takes guests from the Royal Livingstone Hotel to Imaplila Island in the north-eastern tip of Namibia. This unique island is situated at the meeting place of two mighty African rivers, the Chobe and Zambezi, and four countries, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana.
The stay at Impalila Island is inclusive of all meals, teas, coffees, soft drinks, house wines and local beers during meals and while on activities (excluding premium brand drinks, champagnes, sparking wines and spirits), laundry and 2 guided activities a day (excluding full day fishing).

Day 4:
Apart from luxurious accommodation, culinary delights, and a belief that guests should be able to choose how they spend their leisure time, a wide variety of activities are offered. The surrounding area is an amazing mosaic of waterways, floodplains and bushveld:- host to exceptional birdlife, game viewing and assorted vegetation - and in the waters outstanding fishing opportunities.

Day 5:
Transfer to Susuwe Island Lodge in North-Eastern Namibia. Susuwe Island Lodge is situated in the remote Kwando River, a permanent water source which nourishes delicate ecosystems and sustains varied game and birdlife.
The stay at Susuwe Island Lodge is inclusive of all meals, teas, coffees, soft drinks, house wines and local beers during meals and while on activities (excluding premium brand drinks, champagnes, sparking wines and spirits), laundry and 2 guided activities a day.

Day 6:
At Susuwe, guests can enjoy game drives in open 4 x 4 vehicles in the Bwabwata National Park. Game sightings in this cradle of rivers could include vast herds of roaming elephant and buffalo, lion, hippo, leopard, sable, roan, lechwe and puku for example. Night drives are also available.

Day 7:
An air transfer takes guests back to Livingstone International Airport where the flight back to Johannesburg is waiting.
The trip ends on arrival at O.R. Tambo (Johannesburg) International Airport.
