Tour Details
Day 1:
Upon arrival in Cape Town, guests are welcomed and transferred to the luxury Table Bay Hotel at the
Victoria & Alfred Waterfront
where they will be staying for 3 nights. Spend the day at your leisure to explore this hotel and its surroundings.
Day 2:
Enjoy a spectacular day tour of the
Peninsula
and
Cape Point
. After the tour guests are transferred back to their hotel.
Day 3:
Day at leisure to explore the
Victoria & Alfred Waterfront
with its many restaurants and shops.
Day 4:
Travel to George, where the accommodation for the next 2 nights will be at the Protea Hotel King George. Spend the rest of the day with exploring the hotel and George, the capital of the Garden Route.
Day 5:
This morning, guests are collected from their hotel and transferred to George Station where they will board the
Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe
(a steam hauled train) for a return trip to Knysna. On arrival in Knysna it is only a short walk to the John Benn, a double-decker luxury cruiser that departs from the Knysna Waterfront. Enjoy a wonderful cruise over the Knysna Lagoon to Knysna's famous Heads. The John Benn has a full bar on board and serves a lovely light lunch. The John Benn departs at 12:30 and the cruise is an hour and a half. Following the cruise, walk back to station for the return trip to George on the Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe. The train departs Knysna station at 14:15 in the afternoon. On arrival in George, guests are met and transferred back to their hotel.
Day 6:
Fly from George to Johannesburg. On arrival in Johannesburg, a transfer will be waiting to take the guests to
Sun City
for 2 nights of excitement and fun. Stay at a unique hotel, The Palace.
Day 7:
The day is yours to explore the hotel and its facilities, from gambling to the water world to the extravaganza show, one will never be bored.
Day 8:
Transfer from Sun City to Sandton in Johannesburg for a one night stay at the InterContinental Sandton Sun & Towers. Once in Johannesburg, guests have the option to just simply relax or perhaps go and do a bit of shopping, the choice is entirely up to you.
Day 9:
After breakfast, guests will return to Johannesburg International Airport for their flight back home.

When visiting South Africa for a period of up to 90 days, travellers from Commonwealth countries, Japan, the USA and the European Union do not require a visa. Visitors who intend to work in South Africa must apply for a work permit abroad at the South African Consulate or Embassy. Before departing for South Africa, check with the nearest South African Consulate or Embassy for any possible changes regarding the visa requirements. Passports must carry a validity of 6 months beyond intended date of departure from South Africa. Note, Travellers should have a minimum of two blank pages in their passport to enable the entry visa to be issued. If there is insufficient space in the passport entry will be denied.
