Madikwe Safari Lodge is situated in the heart of the richly diverse and malaria-free 76 000 hectare Madikwe Game Reserve – one of South Africa’s biggest wildlife sanctuaries. Set on a gentle slope nestled between two rolling hills, Madikwe Safari Lodge overlooks game-filled plains. The region is also imbued in history and has seen the passage of Mzilikazi and a range of explorers, traders, hunters and missionaries, including Dr David Livingstone, Sir Cornwallis Harris and the famous South African author, Herman Charles Bosman.

DIRECTIONS TO MADIKWE SAFARI LODGE
Coming from Johannesburg: Follow the R21 highway to Pretoria. You will enter Pretoria via Nelson Mandela Drive. Continue on Nelson Mandela Drive until you sea the road signs indicating the N4 highway. Leave Pretoria with the N4 highway. Continue on the N4 highway until you reach Zeerust. Once in Zeerust, turn right at Gabarone/Madikwe signs on Route R49. After approx. 90 km enter the Madikwe Game Reserve at Abjaterskop Gate From here, you will be directed to the lodge. *** Chauffeured transfers are also available.
