Days 3 to 4:
Travelling to your next destination, you will pass the St. Lucia Wetlands. A very special slice of Africa. The Greater St Lucia Wetland Park offers visitors some of the most diverse wildlife and outdoor experiences imaginable. This unique, 38 000 ha expanse of lake, islands and estuary, incorporates an astonishing variety of habitats ranging from the Lebombo mountains to grasslands, forests, wetlands, mangroves and vegetated dunes, with magnificent beaches and coral reefs.
The Zulu Nyala private game reserve lies nestled between the Mkuze, Hluhluwe and St. Lucia reserves. This section of paradise is home to a wide variety of game from majestic elephant, rhino, buffalo and stealthy predators to abundant plains game and a wealth of bird life.
Be surprised by the unexpected on guided game drives in open landrovers. Enjoy elephant tracking along the riverbeds while on guided walks, or simply relax on the Mzinene River Boat Cruise and listen to the sounds of the many birds.

A short drive will take you to another place of great beauty and contrast in Zululand. The Ithala Game Reserve is renowned for its magnificent birdlife and is also home to the black- and white rhino, elephant and numerous giraffe.
Accommodation is in a restcamp with modern units that are comfortably furnished. Facilities at the camp include a restaurant, a bar and an open game viewing deck that overlooks a small pan.
