Tour Details


Day 1:

Upon arrival in Cape Town, guests are collected and transferred to their hotel at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront where they will be staying for 3 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. Accommodation is in comfortable en suite bedrooms with a nautical theme that runs throughout the hotel. Hotel facilities include a breakfast room, sundowner bar and a sparkling pool. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore this hotel and its surroundings. Visit the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront on the Cape Town harbour front. Original buildings have been kept and renovated and new ones developed - all in beautiful Victorian style. Much of its charm lies in the fact that this busy commercial harbour is set in the midst of a huge entertainment venue with pubs, restaurants, specialty shops, craft markets, theatres and movie theatres.
Day 2:

Guests are collected from their hotel for a beautiful day tour of the Peninsula and its Cape Point>/b>. At the end of the tour guests are transferred back to their hotel.
Day 3:

This morning, guests are travelling to the Cape Winelands area for a full day of wine tasting and cellar tours. Following the winelands tour, guests will be transferred back to their hotel.
Day 4:

Today, guests continue their travels to George where they will be staying for the next 2 nights at luxurious accommodation, overlooking the George Golf Course. Situated within the centre of George, this hotel combines the facilities of a luxury resort with the modern sophistication of a world-class hotel. The hotel has a splendid restaurant, a relaxing cocktail bar, two swimming pools and a kiddies playground. Various sporting activities can be enjoyed at the hotel and nearby. Spend the day exploring the hotel and its beautiful surroundings. Overnight on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 5:

At George station guests will board the Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe train. This antique steam train offers a scenic slow paced view of the route from George to Mossel Bay. The train departs George station at 10:00 in the morning and arrives in Mossel Bay at 12:00 in the afternoon. Go back in time with this trip on the beautifully restored Outeniqua steam hauled train. Arriving in Mossel Bay at Santos Beach and the Diaz Museum, passengers have the opportunity to see/visit the Post Office Tree, Aquarium, Granary, Maritime, Cultural or Shell Museum (entrance fees for the museums is not included in the train fare). The train departs Mossel Bay station at 14:15 in the afternoon. On arrival in George guests will be transferred back to the hotel.
Day 6:

Fly from George Airport to Johannesburg. On arrival in Johannesburg, guests travel via a road transfer to Sun City. Nestled in the hills of the Pilanesberg, Sun City is known as Africa’s Kingdom of Pleasure. This remarkable resort offers everything from superb accommodation to sizzling entertainment, world–class casinos, extensive sporting facilities including the world-famous Gary Player Golf Course, home to the Million Dollar Golf Challenge, as well as the Lost City Course. Overnight for the next two nights is on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 7:

The day is yours to explore the hotel and its facilities, from gambling to the water world to the extravaganza show, one will never be bored. Leisure facilities at your disposal include a Water World that offers a full range of water sports as well as the Valley of Waves, Africa’s only subtropical water adventure park, which boasts an 8,5 million litre wave pool with 2 metre high waves. And for the ecologically minded, Southern Africa’s third largest game reserve, the 55 000 acre Pilanesberg National Park, is right on Sun City’s doorstep and is home to the much sought after 'Big Five'.
Day 8:

Travel back to Johannesburg where guests will stay in the exclusive suburb Sandton. Once here, guests have the option to just simply relax or perhaps go and do a bit of shopping; the choice is entirely yours.
Day 9:

Guests are collected from the hotel and transferred back to Johannesburg International Airport for their flight back home or their further Africa travels.

Visa Requirements
    When visiting South Africa for a period of up to 90 days, travellers from Commonwealth countries, Japan, the USA and the European Union do not require a visa. Visitors who intend to work in South Africa must apply for a work permit abroad at the South African Consulate or Embassy. Before departing for South Africa, check with the nearest South African Consulate or Embassy for any possible changes regarding the visa requirements. Passports must carry a validity of 6 months beyond intended date of departure from South Africa. Note, Travellers should have a minimum of two blank pages in their passport to enable the entry visa to be issued. If there is insufficient space in the passport entry will be denied.
