Tour Details

Day 1:

Collect your comfortable Europcar rental car at Cape Town International Airport and make your way to Sanbona Wildlife Reserve. Detailed maps and directions will be waiting for you in the car when it is collected. The reserve is situated approximately 3 hours from Cape Town on the renowned Route 62 between Montague and Barrydale. Accommodation at Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is in luxuriously appointed rooms. Guests can experience personal service and world-class cuisine in an atmosphere of privacy and tranquility. Overnight: Sanbona Wildlife Reserve on a Fully Inclusive basis.

Day 2:

Spend today at leisure. Sunrise and sunset trails lead to secluded rock pools and spectacular examples of San art – hidden away between breathtaking rock formations. There is a wide range of easy and challenging routes from which to choose. Go on safari in comfortable Land Rovers under the guidance of professional rangers. More than 54000 hectares of undulating mountains and plains, indigenous flora and fauna, rock formations and rock art make this a destination not to be missed. Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is home to free ranging white Lions.

Day 3:

After breakfast, make your way back towards Cape Town where your next destination is The Long Beach in Kommetjie. The Long Beach has six ultra luxurious suites all with stylishly comfortable interiors and private patios. Each spectacularly appointed room faces the sea – as do the bathrooms! There is an inviting pool and relaxing sun decks from which you can scan the ocean for whales, or you can catch your own lobster and request it for dinner. Overnight: The Long Beach on a Bed & Breakfast basis.

Days 4 to 5:

Explore and experience all that Cape Town and its surrounds has to offer. From the famous icon of Table Mountain, vast winelands and exquisite beaches to world-class restaurants and cosmopolitan entertainment haunts, the Cape boasts a myriad cultures and tourist attractions to suit all travellers.

Day 6:

Today, guests will return their car to Cape Town International Airport where this trip ends.

Transport

Visa Requirements

When visiting South Africa for a period of up to 90 days, travellers from Commonwealth countries, Japan, the USA and the European Union do not require a visa. Visitors who intend to work in South Africa must apply for a work permit abroad at the South African Consulate or Embassy. Before departing for South Africa, check with the nearest South African Consulate or Embassy for any possible changes regarding the visa requirements. Passports must carry a validity of 6 months beyond intended date of departure from South Africa. Note, Travellers should have a minimum of two blank pages in their passport to enable the entry visa to be issued. If there is insufficient space in the passport entry will be denied.
