Tour Details


Days 1 to 3:

The tour starts early in the morning from Maun, the tourism capital Your guide will meet you at 07h30 at a pre-arranged meeting point in Maun. From Maun you will drive through to Moremi Game Reserve, one of the best wilderness areas of Botswana which covers swamp and dry areas. The next three days will be spent searching for the wide variety of wildlife and birds that this area is renowned for while absorbing the sounds and beauty of this region. Game drives in the early morning as the sun rises and in the late afternoon as the sun sets will be the norm. After your morning game drive you will return to camp for lunch and a siesta. On Day 3 you will move campsites to explore a different area of this diverse park. Camping will be in private designated campsites with bush ablutions. Day 1: Maun - Moremi Game Reserve: 150 km, 6 hrs (including game drive) (Included Meals - Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Days 4 to 5:

Chobe National Park, with its diverse and striking landscapes, will be your next destination. As you continue your search for wildlife, you will traverse the drier region of Savuti where bull elephants dot the plains. You will then head northwards to the Chobe River where your game drives will meander along the banks of the river, followed by the call of the majestic African Fish Eagle. Camping will be in private designated areas with bush ablutions. Day 4: Moremi - Savuti: 120 km, 5-6 hrs Day 5: Savuti - Chobe River: 170 km, 5 hrs (Included Meals - Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 7:

After a morning game drive you will cross the Zambezi River by ferry and then drive to Livingstone on the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls (Visa required), where you will spend the night at a comfortable lodge. In the afternoon there will be time to visit the thunderous Victoria Falls and shop for curios. Dinner will be at your own expense at the lodge. Activities in Livingstone include White Water Rafting down the Zambezi Gorge, Canoeing on the upper Zambezi, Elephant rides and Helicopter Flights over the Victoria Falls, please ask your guide for further details. Day 7: Chobe River - Livingstone: 100 km, 2-3 hrs (Included Meals - Breakfast & Lunch)
Day 8:

The tour officially ends at 10:00 today. Transfers to Livingstone, Victoria Falls or Kasane airports can be arranged. We will gladly assist with bookings for accommodation and activities, should you wish to extend your visit to enjoy some of the other exciting activities offered at the falls, such as the exhilarating White Water Rafting down the Zambezi Gorge. (Included Meals - Breakfast)

Visa Requirements
    When visiting South Africa for a period of up to 90 days, travellers from Commonwealth countries, Japan, the USA and the European Union do not require a visa. Visitors who intend to work in South Africa must apply for a work permit abroad at the South African Consulate or Embassy. Before departing for South Africa, check with the nearest South African Consulate or Embassy for any possible changes regarding the visa requirements. Passports must carry a validity of 6 months beyond intended date of departure from South Africa. Note, Travellers should have a minimum of two blank pages in their passport to enable the entry visa to be issued. Before departing for Botswana, check with the nearest Botswana Consulate or Embassy for any possible changes regarding the visa requirements. Visitors are not allowed to obtain visas at point of entry. *** Travellers from the following countries do not require a visa to visit Zimbabwe: Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, USA, European Union Countries (except Portugal & Greece), Japan, Nationals of commonwealth states (except Bangladesh, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka). Most travellers who do require a visa, can obtain this upon arrival in Zimbabwe. Travellers are advised to check the visa-regulations with their local Embassy or Consulate before departing for Zimbabwe. All visitors must carry valid passports.
