Muizenberg has stunning wide sand beaches, blue waters and sheltered bays.

Muizenberg is shaped by rows of coloured bathing boxes, and is the start of a long, white beach running 40km to Gordon's Bay. Popular with families and young surfers, the pavilion offers a fleamarket, fun and entertainment and a lifeguard. The Muizenberg-St James Walkway is an uplifting, scenic walk along the ocean's edge. Gordon's Bay is home to the well-sheltered Bikini beach, and Main Beach is a popular watersport venue. A footpath and road link the two beaches, both within walking distance of several hotels, restaurants and bars.
