Tour Details
Day 1:
On arrival at Johannesburg International Airport, guests are met and via overland transfer taken to Sun City.
Nestled in the hills of the Pilanesberg, Sun City is known as Africa’s Kingdom of Pleasure. This remarkable resort offers everything from superb accommodation to sizzling entertainment, world–class casinos, extensive sporting facilities including the world-famous Gary Player Golf Course, home to the Million Dollar Golf Challenge, as well as the Lost City Course.
Spend the remainder of your day at leisure.
Stay overnight at Sun City on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2:
The day is yours to explore the hotel and its facilities, from gambling to the water world to the extravaganza, one will never be bored.
Leisure facilities at your disposal include a Water World which offers a full range of water sports, as well as the Valley of Waves, Africa’s only subtropical water adventure park, which boasts an 8,5 million litre wave pool with 2 metre waves.
And for the ecologically minded, the 55 000 acre Pilanesberg National Park, Southern Africa’s third largest game reserve, boasting the much sought after 'Big Five', is right on Sun City’s doorstep.

Day 3:
Guests are collected from their hotel for the transfer back to Johannesburg where they will check-in at their hotel in Sandton.
After guests have settled into the hotel, guests are collected and transferred to the Lesedi Cultural Village for a cultural tour. Meet some of the Pedi Zulu, Xhosa, and Basotho. Let your pulse beat to the original rhythms of Africa Excite your taste buds to traditional foods and experience African dancing at its best.
Overnight at the Garden Court Sandton City on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 4:
Continue this trip to the mighty Drakensberg.
The Cavern is a holiday resort offering comfortable hotel-style accommodation in the KwaZulu Natal region. The resort is set in a secluded valley beneath the massive sandstone cliffs of the Northern Drakensberg. The thatch accommodation and facilities blend beautifully with the natural surroundings of the area. The Cavern is home to numerous Bushman paintings, 213 species of birds, 150 species of trees and numerous wild animals.
Overnight in The Cavern on a bed and breakfast basis.

Days 5 to 6:
Every day local guides are on hand to accompany guests on short or more challenging hikes. Numerous beautiful spots are visited where a brew of tea and crunchies are enjoyed. View the busmen paintings and enjoy the magnificent scenery and fresh air. Freshen up with a swim in a mountain stream.
Guests may choose from a variety of leisure activities, including tennis, bowls, volleyball, jogging, mountain biking. Alternatively, guests can just relax and enjoy the view from the front lawn.

Day 7:
Today guests will depart the Drakensberg and return to Johannesburg where they will again stay at the Garden Court Sandton City.
Overnight in Sandton on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 8:
Go back in time with a private tour of Gold Reef City. Gold Reef City reflects the history of the discovery of Gold and the style of life of those who worked on the mines. Visit the Victorian houses which are replicas of the living standards of that time.
Some of today's highlights include an underground tour of a mine shaft, gold pouring, the gumboot dancers and a visit to the theme park.
The Gold Reef City theme park offers 31 rides ranging from the thrill-a-second Golden Loop to the Swinging Coco Pan to the more sedate fun train and the magical dragon land for the smaller child.
At the end of this fun-filled day, guests are taken back to the their hotel in Sandton.

Day 9:
After breakfast, guests will be collected from their hotel and transferred back to Johannesburg International Airport for their flight back home or their onward travels.
