Tour Details
Day 1:
Depart from Durban International Airport with your rental car for the majestic mountains of the Drakensberg.
Situated high in the glorious Cathkin Park area of the central Drakensberg Mountains, your comfortable 3-star hotel is set in a dramatic landscape, offering visitors breathtaking views and fresh mountain air.
Overnight on a bed & breakfast basis.

Day 2:
Your day is at leisure and there are many sights to see, with a day hike into the mountains being highly recommended. The majestic Drakensberg is the country's highest and most impressive mountain range rising to over 3 000 meters. Known to the Zulu people as Ukhahlamba, meaning 'Barrier of Spears', or 'the Mountains of the Dragon', the Drakensberg Mountains provide a magnificent semi-circular border between KwaZulu-Natal and the inland mountain kingdom of Lesotho.

Day 3:
The Drakensberg Boy Choir is a definite must if you are interested in music. Musically, the Drakensberg Boys’ Choir is representative of the multi-faceted cultures that make up this wonderful country. They have created a new trend in the international choral scene that transcends the conventional, a unique style of diversity - Bach, Beethoven, Freddy Mercury, African, Jazz, Folk, etc. Whatever the style, they perform it with excellence and aplomb.
The day is at your leisure.

Day 4:
After a delectable breakfast it is time for you to make your way back to Durban International Airport.

Visa Requirements When visiting South Africa for a period of up to 90 days, travellers from Commonwealth countries, Japan, the USA and the European Union do not require a visa. Visitors who intend to work in South Africa must apply for a work permit abroad at the South African Consulate or Embassy. Before departing for South Africa, check with the nearest South African Consulate or Embassy for any possible changes regarding the visa requirements.
Passports must carry a validity of 6 months beyond intended date of departure from South Africa. Note, Travellers should have a minimum of two blank pages in their passport to enable the entry visa to be issued. If there is insufficient space in the passport entry will be denied.
